Such a TOS moment. I can so easily see shatner and nimoy versions underneath.
THIS. THIS is the moment I am talking about when I say that Chris Pine’s performance was eerily reminiscent of Shatner at times yet still very much his own. This could have been lifted straight from a TOS episode, and it’s fantastically done.
His eyes have the same need for emotional security and then his smile after Spock answers is relieved/confident/smug/sweet all in one. Shatnerismmmm ;_;
